Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) remote position at Nexters, an international game development company dedicated to delivering core gaming experiences to casual players. With our recent public listing on NASDAQ (GDEV) in 2021, we have expanded our reach globally, operating from offices in Cyprus, Armenia, and Kazakhstan, as well as remotely. What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform manual functional testing of mobile game builds to ensure high-quality standards.
• Test a wide range of features and ensure overall product quality, contributing to the success of our new 3D mobile game project in the 4X strategy genre.
• Identify, document, and track defects, including localization-related issues, to enhance the user experience.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation that supports the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Contribute to product improvement through feedback and QA-driven insights, ensuring that our games meet the highest standards.
• Participate in the product lifecycle, including release preparation and validation, to ensure timely launches.

Requirements

• Experience in manual functional testing of mobile game products; experience in automation testing will be a plus.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), feature lifecycle, and QA processes.
• Experience with monetization features and A/B testing to enhance game performance.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and testing tools such as GitLab, Grafana, Firebase, and Amplitude.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
