QA Team Lead - Remote Position at Visme

About the Role

We are seeking a talented QA Team Lead to join our remote team at Visme. As a QA Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our visual communication platform. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality products.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of QA engineers, both manual and automation.
• Own the full QA strategy, including processes, standards, test planning, and quality gates.
• Build and optimize QA processes, test strategies, and quality standards to enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on acceptance criteria, risk areas, and release readiness.
• Oversee test planning, regression cycles, and cross-platform testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Improve and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and quality gates.
• Drive the automation roadmap and ensure high-value tests are automated effectively.
• Manage release testing, smoke checks, and post-release quality validation to maintain product integrity.
• Track key QA metrics such as defect leakage, coverage, and cycle time, continuously improving processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on manual testing skills for complex SaaS applications.
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate for quality within the team.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing design tools, editors, or highly interactive UIs.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS), performance testing, and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of real-time collaboration, OT/CRDT, or multi-user systems.
