Founding Engineer - AI Solutions for Software Bugs

About the Role

We are looking for a Founding Engineer to join our high-growth stealth startup, focused on revolutionizing software debugging. As a Founding Engineer remote, you will help build a generalized algorithm that addresses software bugs effectively. When production crashes, our innovative system will notify the responsible engineer within minutes, detailing the specifics of the issue without requiring them to write a prompt.

What You'll Do

• Develop multi-agent AI systems that utilize real telemetry for accurate root cause analyses.
• Automate error analysis to tackle unseen problems in software development.
• Set up telemetry pipelines and build automatic instrumentation to monitor code behavior across logs, traces, and deployments.
• Take full ownership of various tech stacks, including infrastructure and full-stack development as the company evolves.
• Collaborate with a talented team from renowned companies like xAI, OpenAI, and Affirm.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in AI, particularly in solving complex, unstructured problems.
• Demonstrable technical skills that set you apart as an exceptional candidate.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Strong autonomy in your work, with the ability to shift into execution mode without needing management.
• A gritty and driven mindset, thriving outside your comfort zone.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated telemetry systems.
• Familiarity with error analysis automation.
