Staff Software Integration Engineer - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Design and implement software solutions that integrate seamlessly with hardware components.
• Utilize your expertise in Python to write clean, testable code and manage embedded hardware interfaces.
• Engage in real-time operating systems (RTOS) development and hardware validation using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Implement CI/CD practices for embedded systems using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Conduct unit and system-level testing to ensure high-quality software performance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional Scrum teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with electrical engineers and QA testers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML).
• Experience in evaluating risks and presenting solution options to management.
