Senior Frontend Engineer - React & TypeScript

About the Role

Join our team as a Senior Frontend Engineer to help enhance our platform that assists thousands of businesses in finding the right talent swiftly and fairly. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving our architecture and delivering features that are relied upon by tens of thousands of users daily. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a mature, integrated team in Spain, where you will be responsible for owning features from discovery to production monitoring.

What You'll Do

• Ship high-impact features by collaborating with Product and Design during the discovery phase, architecting solutions, and building them using React and TypeScript.
• Raise the technical bar by contributing to architectural decisions, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.
• Write and advocate for Technical Execution Plans (TEPs) to align changes across the team.
• Develop robust unit and end-to-end tests to maintain stability and ensure that shipped features work flawlessly.
• Evolve our Design System by improving shared components based on your feature work, benefiting the entire team.
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing through pairing, code reviews, and daily collaboration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production frontends with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid experience with state management, preferably with Zustand or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with API integration using REST and GraphQL.
• Proven ability to write meaningful tests, including unit and E2E tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams, collaborating with Product and Design.
• Strong opinions on performance and usability, backed by data.

Nice to Have

• Experience building or maintaining a Design System.
• Comfort working in Figma alongside designers.
• Exposure to backend concepts or full-stack environments.
