RF Test and Development Engineer - 3rd Shift
About the Role
We are hiring an RF Test and Development Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As an RF Test and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and delivery of our diverse suite of RF and digital product hardware. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment for RF and digital hardware.
- Troubleshoot and support RF and digital hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Support First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and hardware deliveries.
- Analyze test data and identify early trends to improve product quality.
- Compile data and define necessary changes in testing equipment and procedures.
- Collaborate with design engineering to implement hardware improvements.
- Support technicians through troubleshooting and training processes.
- Monitor product yields and maintain program yield targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience with RF hardware and software, including RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to work 3rd Shift.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline.
- Experience with FPGA and LabWindows CVI, C/C++ programming.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience of electrical hardware.
