Head of AI Engineering - Remote Leadership Role

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of AI Engineering to join our team at Eversynced. This is a full-time remote role where you will own AI engineering enablement across the organization. As the Head of AI Engineering, you will report directly to the CEO and focus on applied AI research, team enablement, and client value discovery.

What You'll Do

• Track AI trends that matter for real software delivery, including model capabilities, tradeoffs, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Stay current on developer tooling and new capabilities such as IDEs, copilots, agents, orchestration, and evaluation tooling.
• Elevate our engineers through hands-on trainings, workshops, and pair programming sessions.
• Standardize workflows like spec-driven development and multi-agent approaches within client teams.
• Identify AI-driven opportunities that fit team augmentation and package offerings for clients.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in remote work for Staff+ positions.
• Proficiency in various languages and frameworks, including TypeScript with React, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Python.
• Strong practical AI engineering skills applied to real delivery.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform, and AWS.

Nice to Have

• Experience with incident response and codebase comprehension.
• Background in training and onboarding acceleration.
