About the Role

As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the platform’s core functionalities, ensuring seamless integration between backend processes and frontend interfaces. Your role will involve working across the full technology stack, utilizing your expertise in PHP, Python, Laravel, and Vue.js to deliver scalable, high-quality code. While the role is remote, occasional team gatherings in London will be organized for strategic planning and social engagement, making UK residency essential. What You'll Do

• Developing and maintaining scalable backend systems using PHP and Python, ensuring robustness and security.
• Designing and implementing features within the Laravel framework to support business needs.
• Building responsive, intuitive user interfaces with Vue.js that enhance user experience.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participating in code reviews, providing mentorship to junior team members, and maintaining coding standards.
• Contributing to technical documentation and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identifying opportunities for system improvements and implementing innovative solutions to optimize performance.
• Ensuring the platform's security, scalability, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in commercial web development.
• Proficiency in PHP and Python, demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain complex applications.
• Extensive experience with Laravel framework for backend architecture development.
• Strong frontend development skills, particularly with Vue.js, to create reactive and modern user interfaces.
• Full right to work in the UK and residency within the UK.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
