About the Role

We are seeking a Product Technology Expert III to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive understanding of products throughout their lifecycle and the introduction of new products into the manufacturing of solid pharmaceutical forms. As a Product Technology Expert III, you will contribute to ensuring that processes remain robust, continuously validated, and focused on ongoing improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the comprehensive knowledge of allocated products, ensuring the entire lifecycle of assigned products is managed effectively.
  • Implement new products into the manufacturing of solid pharmaceutical forms: transfer newly developed products from the laboratory or existing products from other Novartis manufacturing locations.
  • Plan and execute technical batches and trials in production.
  • Design and carry out process validation.
  • Prepare technological documentation for technical, validation series, and commercial production of the product.
  • Maintain optimal performance of processes, evaluated through statistical analyses of critical parameters and process data.
  • Analyze laboratory and process data using a range of statistical tools.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and information sharing between functions and locations, providing expert support to production.
  • Ensure readiness for inspections across all process aspects of assigned products.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in English and Slovenian.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use digital tools for data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across functions and locations.
  • High motivation for work, independence, and proactivity in solving challenges and seeking improvements.
  • Effective prioritization in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and experience in production, quality, or other related fields.
  • Ability to interpret statistical data and monitor trends.
