What You'll Do

• Design and plan network communication systems, providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Troubleshoot and isolate network faults and failures in a LAN/WAN environment.
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and software interconnections, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Evaluate and report on new communication technologies to enhance network capabilities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure mission success while working independently when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years, or a PhD with 8+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated full-scope polygraph at the time of application.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 20% of the time.
• Experience in designing additions to large networks.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of firewall hardware and software, including administration and management.
• Experience with CISCO routers and switches.
• Familiarity with COMSEC equipment.
• Linux and Windows knowledge.
