Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of Tencent Cloud's security-related products, including Firewall and WAF, specifically in the North American region. Your expertise will ensure the stability and reliability of our services while driving product deployment and architecture optimization.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the operations and maintenance of security products to ensure service reliability and stability.
• Drive product deployment, upgrades, and architecture optimization by understanding technical principles of security products.
• Participate in troubleshooting product and customer issues, resolving security problems effectively.
• Build and maintain disaster recovery, monitoring, and automation systems to ensure 24/7 system operation.
• Develop operations and maintenance platforms, improving efficiency and driving system optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in large-scale system operations and maintenance, with hands-on experience in developing disaster recovery and monitoring systems.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Shell, Python, or Golang; familiar with technologies like Open-Falcon and Grafana.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and various network protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility.
