Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales to join our team at Chainguard. This remote position will focus on leading our enterprise sales efforts across Central and Southern Europe. As the RVP, you will report directly to the VP of EMEA and play a crucial role in driving New Annual Recurring Revenue (NARR) within the region.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of Regional Directors and Enterprise Account Executives to build and scale a high-performing sales organization.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in enterprise sales, ensuring timely and budget-conscious hiring.
  • Drive a disciplined approach to pipeline generation through effective collaboration with field sales, marketing, and channel partners.
  • Define and execute a regional revenue strategy that emphasizes collaborative team selling and strong execution.
  • Build and maintain robust customer relationships, focusing on value realization, retention, and advocacy.
  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts through disciplined deal inspection.
  • Develop strategic channel partnerships across Central and Southern Europe to enhance sales efforts.
  • Act as Executive Sponsor on key enterprise deals, fostering relationships with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record in security, open source, or cloud development markets.
  • Strong leadership experience in managing sales teams focused on new business and logo acquisition.
  • Experience in closing complex enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders, particularly in emerging technology categories.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and closing deals with ARR exceeding $200K, with exposure to transactions over $1M.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong alignment to Chainguard’s values and mission.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger).
  • Experience in SaaS and subscription-based sales environments.
  • Strong relationships with channel partners and executive-level customers.
