About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Quality Management to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will lead the local Quality Unit in compliance with legal requirements and Catalent’s global quality standards. Your leadership will ensure that Patient First principles are embedded in all processes, driving continuous improvement in product and process quality.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership for a Quality Management organization of nearly 100 employees, including Quality Systems, Quality Development, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control.
  • Act as a role model for Patient First, ensuring all decisions prioritize patient safety and product quality.
  • Guarantee compliance with current GMP requirements, including AMWHV, EU GMP guidelines, and 21 CFR 210/211 for products intended for the US market.
  • Implement and maintain Catalent’s global Quality Policies, translating them effectively into local processes and standards.
  • Advise customers on quality-related matters, ensuring strong service orientation and partnership.
  • Ensure departmental tasks are carried out with economic efficiency and aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Responsible for achieving annual operational revenue targets and performance indicators.
  • Support new product development and foster a culture of leadership, customer focus, and compliance across the organization.

Requirements

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical quality management, including leadership of multiple quality functions.
  • Profound knowledge of GMP regulations (EU GMP, AMWHV, 21 CFR 210/211) and international quality standards.
  • Experience in managing audits (regulatory, customer, supplier) and inspections.
  • Strong understanding of analytical and manufacturing processes in pharmaceutical production.
  • Fluency in English and German.
