Product Cybersecurity Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Product Cybersecurity Architect to join our innovative team at Torc Robotics. This remote position offers you the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the future of autonomous vehicle technology. As a Product Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for embedding cybersecurity into the foundation of our autonomous driving systems, ensuring the security and integrity of our products throughout their lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Perform cybersecurity assurance activities including static analysis, dynamic analysis, and fuzz testing.
• Conduct attack surface analysis at various levels of software and hardware abstraction.
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate cybersecurity into software development activities.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards for software security as defined by the AVCDL.
• Prepare and present evidence in the safety case to demonstrate readiness for launching new products or software versions from a security perspective.
• Train internal stakeholders on software security practices and provide expert assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Experience with software analysis tools such as CodeQL, libfuzzer, and others.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.
• Knowledge of Unix-like operating systems and computer networking protocols.

Nice to Have

• Experience with developing safety-critical cyber-physical systems.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards such as CERT C++ and MISRA C++.
• Understanding of cybersecure development lifecycles like Microsoft SDL.
