About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Implementation Manager to join our team at Deel. This remote Payroll Implementation Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead the successful implementation of clients on our Deel Local Payroll system. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that payroll processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. As part of a rapidly growing company, you will tackle complex challenges that impact millions of people’s working lives.

What You'll Do

  • Engage clients to understand their current payroll systems, business structures, and compliance requirements in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for requirements, configurations, and project changes.
  • Translate client requirements into software configurations, customizing settings for country-specific regulations, tax laws, and benefits.
  • Design and execute data migration strategies, collaborating with client IT teams for extraction, mapping, and test migrations.
  • Lead side-by-side payroll comparisons between the client’s legacy system and Deel Local Payroll to validate accuracy.
  • Guide the client through their first payroll run, resolving issues in real time and ensuring compliance.
  • Manage your client portfolio to ensure timely, high-quality payroll implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in payroll system implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the United Kingdom and Ireland payroll laws and compliance standards.
  • Experience with various payroll systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Postgraduate qualification or certification like PMP.
  • Experience in client-facing project management.
  • Interest in technology and its application in payroll processes.
