Application Security Analyst - Remote Opportunity with Relocation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Analyst remote to join our global telecommunications project based in Valencia, Spain. This role involves a mandatory relocation to Valencia or Belgrade, Serbia, where you will work 100% on-site. As an Application Security Analyst remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our applications and systems.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate business requirements and review software architecture to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Perform source code reviews and conduct static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) security testing.
• Conduct penetration testing on software to uncover potential security threats.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to remedy security vulnerabilities in code.
• Utilize your expertise in Java, C++, and C# to enhance application security measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in application security.
• Previous experience in code review and penetration testing.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices, including data protection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Experience with cloud security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
