About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Designer remote to join our innovative team at Leviat. As a leader in connection, fastening, lifting, and anchoring technology for the construction industry, Leviat offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and strength in construction. You will play a pivotal role in our regional engineering team, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate and timely for project execution.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate all design activities within the team, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for complex design questions, translating customer requirements into precise technical documentation.
  • Implement and maintain Inventor configurators and oversee all BIM-related topics concerning our products.
  • Create workshop and production plans for standard and custom products, ensuring data quality and documentation standards.
  • Support other departments with technical inquiries, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Potentially take on personnel management responsibilities for the design team, depending on suitability and interest.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a designer (EFZ) with at least 5 years of professional experience in design.
  • Technical education (HF technician) is advantageous.
  • Strong 3D CAD skills, preferably with Autodesk Inventor.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent German and good English skills; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in leading design teams.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and standards.
  • Familiarity with international design practices.
