Instrument Supervisor - Remote Opportunity in Oil & Gas

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Supervisor to join our team remotely, representing Wood at our client site in Ploiesti, Romania. As an Instrument Supervisor remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction contractors comply with all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) policies and site regulations.

What You'll Do

• Implement HSE procedures and standards in compliance with applicable laws and project requirements.
• Conduct safety evaluations and ensure subcontractors are trained and compliant with safety protocols.
• Hold regular safety meetings and ensure that work permits are obtained before starting any activities.
• Monitor subcontractor execution of work to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Assist in incident investigations and ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Instrument Supervisor remote in the Chemical and Oil & Gas industries.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in integrated teams on complex projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience with MS Office programs, particularly complex Excel files.
• Eligibility to work in Romania and availability for construction site duties.
