What You'll Do

• Utilize advanced data analytics to enhance Canonical’s product adoption and market penetration.
• Design and conduct experiments with data visualization and insights into Canonical’s target audiences.
• Build a marketing data stack based on open source technologies and integrate it with our data mesh.
• Collaborate with various stakeholder teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Finance, to improve the data and tool ecosystem.
• Implement and maintain systems that ensure teams across the company have self-service access to data dashboards.

Requirements

• Background in data science, mathematics, actuarial science, or engineering.
• Up to 1 year of experience in data analytics.
• Knowledge of advanced statistics, data sciences, and coding/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Proficiency in databases (SQL) and data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Apache Superset).
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning and blockchain technologies.
• Ability to translate business questions into key research objectives.
• Curiosity and willingness to embrace new technologies.
