Distributed Systems Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Distributed Systems Engineer remote to join our dynamic team at Artie. As a Distributed Systems Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product while working on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Build column encryption and launch our analytics portal.
• Develop tooling to streamline and automate infrastructure workloads.
• Introduce pipeline efficiencies by balancing virtual memory and disk usage.
• Create native change data capture (CDC) connectors for unsupported data sources.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure our solutions meet their needs.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in computer science.
• Ability to work across the stack and adapt to different roles.
• Experience with async systems, gRPC, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Helm is preferred.
• Proficiency in Go is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work in-person 5 days a week in San Francisco’s Financial District.

Nice to Have

• Experience with stream processing and CDC.
• Familiarity with Terraform, AWS, and GCP.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Material UI.
