Reliability Systems Engineer - Level 3 (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a Reliability Systems Engineer - Level 3 (Remote) to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. As a Reliability Systems Engineer, you will lead reliability support to the design team, conducting reliability predictions, assessments, and facilitating Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Your expertise will contribute to the design and development of systems that are at the forefront of technological advancements.
What You'll Do
- Lead reliability support to design teams through reliability predictions and assessments.
- Conduct failure rate estimation and facilitate FMEA to identify critical items.
- Interpret electrical schematics and create reliability block diagrams.
- Develop technical solutions to reliability and availability problems.
- Utilize industry tools for conducting reliability analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of engineering experience.
- Proven ability to perform reliability predictions and assessments.
- Familiarity with modeling/simulation software tools used for reliability analysis.
- Active SCI access or DOD Top Secret clearance at the time of application.
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics and functional block diagrams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with satellite design and directed energy hardware.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
