Copilot Platform Engineer - Microsoft 365 Remote

About the Role

Join our team as a Copilot Platform Engineer - Microsoft 365 Remote at Export Development Canada (EDC). In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will work collaboratively across platform and infrastructure teams to support backend services that enable Copilot experiences.

What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain the Copilot for M365 platform, ensuring robust integration with Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, and Azure services.
• Implement technical readiness activities, including governance, security, compliance, and performance optimization for Copilot deployments.
• Collaborate with Workplace Solutions and Gen AI Working Group to operationalize Copilot Studio and related AI services for custom workflows.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, privacy, and records management standards for AI-driven workflows.
• Optimize Copilot for M365 across applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) for high-value use cases.
• Develop automation scripts and connectors to extend Copilot capabilities into business processes.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in platform engineering or enterprise systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with AI adoption programs and Copilot enablement initiatives.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Graph.
• Proficiency in Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Databricks) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and familiarity with prompt engineering.
