HR Business Partner - Remote Position at GE Aerospace
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner at GE Aerospace, you will be the first point of contact for leaders and employees, providing essential counsel, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals. This HR Business Partner remote position allows you to partner with the operations team to deliver employee and labor relations support while executing key HR initiatives. You will play a vital role in the Evendale Site HR/UR team, supporting various initiatives on campus and acting as the HR Manager for both exempt and non-exempt (union) client groups.
What You'll Do
- Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple senior leaders and employees within a complex business environment, focusing on employee advocacy and engagement.
- Support managers and employees with HR fundamentals, including performance management, career development, and workplace investigations.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, escalating concerns as necessary and guiding employees and managers to appropriate HR Services.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and O&TD professionals to execute business-specific HR strategies.
- Ensure consistent handling of employee relations and union relations matters across the organization.
- Lead key HR processes such as compensation planning and compliance.
- Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like performance management and salary planning.
- Assist with special HR projects or initiatives as needed while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a related area or unrelated area with 4 years of HR experience.
- Minimum of 5 years prior professional work experience within Human Resources, including internships.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to connect with employees at all levels.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and applying Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HR concepts and principles, with expertise in areas such as staffing and analytics.
- GE HRLP Graduate or graduate of a similar program is preferred.
