About the Role

We are offering a Communications Internship at Arsenal Filminstitut e.V., a prominent film institution located in Berlin. What You'll Do

  • Assist in preparing materials for press and public relations, including researching text and image materials.
  • Proofread and translate documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Prepare press releases and press kits for upcoming events.
  • Organize events and gain insights into the programming processes of the cinema.
  • Communicate with media partners and guests of Arsenal, enhancing your networking skills.
  • Support public relations efforts through target audience research and communication strategies.
  • Create engaging content for our social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
  • Help manage evening events, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.

Requirements

  • A strong affinity for film culture and the arts.
  • Prior experience in cultural work or communications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and content creation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of the Berlin media landscape is a plus.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • This internship is mandatory as part of your academic program.

Nice to Have
