About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Atlan. This Cloud Security Engineer remote position is ideal for someone who is passionate about security and wants to make a significant impact in the AI and cloud space. You will work with a diverse team to enhance our security posture across our platforms used by over 450 enterprise customers.

What You'll Do

• Develop and automate security systems that detect and remediate vulnerabilities across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Lead application security initiatives, including threat modeling and security reviews for web applications and APIs.
• Build AI-powered security agents to automate vulnerability triage and incident forensics.
• Integrate security into the developer workflow, ensuring a 'Secure by Default' approach.
• Take ownership of security gaps, implementing solutions end-to-end without waiting for external teams.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in a cloud-native SaaS environment, focusing on AppSec and Cloud Security.
• Hands-on experience with AI development and integrating LLMs into security workflows.
• Deep expertise in AWS, including IAM, VPCs, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in leading security reviews and risk assessments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a root-cause orientation.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GCP and Azure security practices.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD security integration.
