About the Role
We are seeking a talented Cloud IT Operations Engineer to join our innovative health tech company. This is a fully remote position that offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic Network Operations Center (NOC) team. As a Cloud IT Operations Engineer, you will play a vital role in monitoring, triaging, and resolving infrastructure and application issues across Azure and AWS environments.
What You'll Do
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services using tools such as Site24x7, Datadog, or similar platforms.
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service disruptions; perform initial triage and resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate engineering teams with clear documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis and assist in post-incident reviews.
- Maintain system uptime and performance across Azure and AWS environments.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for incident management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Engineering, and Security.
- Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and operational processes.
- Perform day-to-day service desk activities, including end-user support and execution of engineering requests related to Azure infrastructure and cloud operations.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IT Operations, NOC, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure (required).
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Site24x7, Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
- Strong understanding of incident management and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience working in a 24/7 or shift-based operations environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during assigned shifts.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Exposure to automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of ITIL practices or incident management frameworks.
- Experience supporting fully cloud-native environments.
