What You'll Do

• Design and own system-level architecture, focusing on microservices and platforms.
• Lead technical decisions and influence the product and tech roadmap.
• Improve performance, scalability, and core algorithms of our systems.
• Build and modernize platforms as the company transitions deeper into SaaS and PaaS.
• Run proofs of concept for new technologies and mentor junior engineers.
• Work on product-facing systems, not just internal tools, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Utilize your strong backend experience in Java, Python, C++, or Erlang.
• Engage with distributed systems, orchestration, or fleet management to enhance our offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Java (preferred), Python, C++, or Erlang.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of SaaS and PaaS environments.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence team direction.
• Experience with performance optimization and algorithm improvement.
• Familiarity with robotics or automation platforms is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools and fleet management systems.
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies.
