About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer - LLMOps & MLOps to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of AI initiatives, focusing on enhancing claims processing through innovative AI solutions. This is a high-stakes position within our AI Transformation Office, where you will collaborate with top-tier technologies such as Azure OpenAI Service and AWS to build automated infrastructures that integrate legacy systems with modern AI capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of multi-cloud CI/CD and Continuous Training pipelines across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Design and implement the LLMOps framework, focusing on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector database management.
- Establish secure data ingestion processes from legacy systems into cloud-native MLOps workflows.
- Develop automated model evaluation frameworks to ensure high performance before deployment.
- Implement observability and monitoring systems for model drift and performance metrics.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to manage AI resources effectively.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure seamless data flow between production models and analytical platforms.
- Optimize model serving endpoints for high throughput and low latency using containerization and serverless architectures.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on MLOps or LLMOps in production.
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure, with hands-on experience configuring Bedrock and Azure OpenAI services.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and PySpark, along with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability frameworks such as LangSmith or WhyLabs.
- Strong understanding of statistical validation and model evaluation metrics.

- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms or AI tools.
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in AI.
