Tech Lead Java Fullstack Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Tech Lead Java Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team at Sopra Steria. In this remote position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions that meet client needs while leading a talented team of developers.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of both backend and frontend components of user stories, ensuring adherence to development and security standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Manage critical and complex development tasks, contributing to the overall success of the project.
• Oversee the continuous integration pipeline for your technology stack, ensuring smooth deployment processes.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, leveraging your expertise to support business development efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Fullstack Developer with expertise in React or Angular.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies and team management.
• Proficiency in Java 8/11/17, Oracle, PostgreSQL, JBoss EAP 7, Spring, Hibernate, and Talend.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A degree in Engineering or equivalent University qualification.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading teams and managing projects.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
