DevOps Engineer - Blockchain Focus (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team at Midnight Foundation. This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in Asia, with a requirement for 1–2 hours of daily overlap with US or EU time zones. As a DevOps Engineer, you will apply best practices for monitoring, observability, security, and infrastructure automation to expand our multi-cloud and bare metal platforms supporting our Cardano and Midnight deployments. What You'll Do

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for our blockchain applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a multi-cloud environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Enhance security measures across our platforms and applications.
• Document processes and create knowledge base articles for team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in DevOps and blockchain technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and bare metal deployments.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with Git for version control.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust programming language.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
