Systems Integration Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Integration Developer to join our dynamic team at Bechtel Corporation. This remote Systems Integration Developer role offers you the chance to work on groundbreaking projects that have a lasting impact on global infrastructure. You will be instrumental in building and sustaining a data-centric, integrated application ecosystem that connects Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Startup (E/P/C/S) work processes.

What You'll Do

• Develop utilities and adapters (e.g., SQL procedures, microservices, or scripts) to standardize data ingestion/extraction.
• Identify and pilot modern automation approaches to resolve data exchange issues between commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom systems.
• Build data integrations and services that transform data between COTS and custom systems using ETL/ELT jobs and REST/JSON APIs.
• Implement monitoring and quality controls to ensure data integrity and uniformity in project reports.
• Create and maintain project reporting assets in collaboration with analysts and functional SMEs.
• Document interfaces and work processes, contributing to automation standards and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Startup, and vendors to deliver incremental value.
• Provide user support and training for automation solutions, optimizing jobs and assisting with change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in systems integration or software development.
• Strong SQL & Data Integration fundamentals, with the ability to author queries and data pipelines.
• Experience with API integration (REST, JSON) and scripting proficiency in languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript/Node.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI or SSRS.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to document processes clearly and effectively.
