About the Role
Join Arm as a Chip Methodology and Automation Applications Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our engineering flows. This remote position allows you to collaborate with teams across various global locations, including Canada, the UK, India, and more. As a key member of the Chip Methodology and Automation (CMA) team, you will help streamline processes and ensure project success.
What You'll Do
- Support the deployment, training, and maintenance of internal engineering flows.
- Collaborate with engineers on Arm projects to ensure front-end design and verification flows meet operational criteria.
- Provide training and ramp new teams in Arm, shaping the direction of tools and methodologies.
- Work with EDA vendors to resolve tooling issues effectively.
- Support verification flows related to simulation, formal verification, and design tooling.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Design or Verification flows used in SoC development.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Perl, with experience in version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate training and collaboration.
- Experience working on global IP and SoC development projects is a plus.
