Full Stack Developer - Remote Position at Ruralis

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Ruralis. This is a fully remote position where you will play a key role in enhancing our digital platform for vacation home management across Italy. As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our web applications, ensuring they are robust and scalable.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications for Ruralis.
• Contribute to the evolution of the technical architecture and scalability of the platform.
• Integrate advanced external APIs and third-party services.
• Collaborate with the product team to define and implement new features.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices using programming languages such as Python.
• Monitor performance and optimize software infrastructure.
• Manage deployment from pre-production to production environments.
• Coordinate operational activities in the development area and provide technical support to junior team members.

Requirements

• At least two years of solid experience in full stack development.
• Proficient in React or React Native for frontend development, and experienced with Terraform and Python.
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js and experience with AWS DynamoDB.
• Proficient in Git and familiar with collaborative workflows.
• Experience in API integration and management.
• Ability to work independently and make informed technical decisions.
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools.
