About the Role

Join Fondazione Opera San Francesco as a Social Assistant in a remote capacity! For over 60 years, OSF has provided free assistance and support to those in need. As a Social Assistant, you will work within multidisciplinary teams to enhance the well-being of individuals seeking our help, promoting their self-determination and welfare. This Social Assistant remote role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with various professionals in the Social Area to support individuals effectively.
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary project 'Nessuno Resti Solo' aimed at reducing loneliness among elderly individuals without family support.
  • Conduct home visits, phone calls, and provide accompaniment for beneficiaries.
  • Gather and assess requests for project inclusion, ensuring a thorough evaluation process.
  • Facilitate social network building with institutions and organizations to create effective responses to community needs.
  • Engage in team meetings and supervision for project monitoring and development.
  • Provide long-term support and orientation to services for beneficiaries through the Social Secretariat.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Services and registration with the Social Workers' Association.
  • Residence in Milan is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong listening, observation, and judgment suspension skills.
  • Project management and socio-pedagogical competencies.
  • Experience working in vulnerable and socio-culturally disadvantaged contexts.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in community outreach programs.
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for remote work.

What We Offer

  • Contract: CCNL Uneba, Level 3S.
  • Full-time position, 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month).
  • Salary range: €25,000 – €26,000 on 14 monthly payments.
  • Electronic meal vouchers of €8 for each working day.
