Senior UX/​UI Designer - Remote Position

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team at GeoLogics Corporation. This is a fully remote position where you will collaborate with the User Experience Research & Design team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing interfaces for metric dashboards and web applications, ensuring optimal user experiences across multiple products.

What You'll Do

• Partner with product owners, stakeholders, architects, and developers to deliver exceptional user experiences for applications and metric solutions.
• Conduct, analyze, and organize user research to document user goals, decisions, information needs, tasks, and workflows.
• Plan and execute user and stakeholder interviews, personas, usability evaluations, and assessments.
• Create storyboards, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Design mockups and prototypes for interactions, focusing on modular reusable design.
• Write Agile development user stories and communicate your work effectively to the team.
• Support the UX team in implementing best practices and accessibility standards.
• Champion user-centered design and design thinking methodologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a User Experience (UX) designer, interaction designer (UI), or similar role.
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design/prototyping tools.
• Strong online portfolio showcasing relevant experience in UX/UI design.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects in a dynamic, distributed team environment.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular, and JavaScript is a plus.
