Electronics Engineer - Remote Position at LANXESS

About the Role

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team at LANXESS. This Electronics Engineer remote position involves the optimization and development of production facilities in the fields of electrical engineering, instrumentation, and process control technology. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of our systems while adhering to safety regulations and internal guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the optimization and development of production facilities in electrical engineering and process control technology.
• Plan and implement investment and maintenance projects to ensure the longevity and expansion of our facilities.
• Ensure system availability by organizing maintenance tasks, including maintenance and testing concepts, and documentation.
• Manage safety protocols for process control facilities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Promote continuous improvement processes in line with DIN EN ISO standards.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on automation technology or a comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in process control technology and electrical safety.
• Strong awareness of quality and safety standards.
• Ability to think conceptually and work independently, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of explosion protection regulations.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
