Financial Accountant (L.68/​99) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant (L.68/99) remote to join our dynamic team at Satispay. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient functioning of our accounting department as we aim to revolutionize everyday payments. What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and the general ledger to ensure smooth daily financial processes.
• Handle payroll and financial data management, ensuring accuracy in payroll processing, data management, capitalisation, and amortisation.
• Oversee Capex and asset management, ensuring proper allocation and tracking of capital expenditures.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping across all companies within the Group, promoting transparency and integrity.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies to maintain adherence to legal requirements.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis, supporting the preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Enhance financial processes and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in finance or corporate services, with a strong background in general ledger and accounting functions.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and/or IFRS) to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• Excellent organisational skills, capable of balancing teamwork with independent execution.
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach to solve financial challenges efficiently.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel) and experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
• Fluency in both Italian and English for effective communication with the international team.
