Senior Test Automation Engineer - Remote EU

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team remotely in the EU. In this role, you will take ownership of our test architecture and help shape how we ensure quality, evolving from a setup with around 50% manual testing toward a fast-moving, AI-driven world of automated testing. What You'll Do

• Ensure software quality through manual testing and shape the future of optimized AI-driven automated tests.
• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated tests using tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Perform exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing, supporting release testing and final validations.
• Collaborate and optimize processes across teams, working closely with key account management, customer support, product development, and IT.
• Take ownership of test architecture alongside your team lead, ensuring every feature is production-ready.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in E2E testing, test automation, and manual QA.
• Strong attention to detail and a perfectionist mindset.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright and Git for test management.
• Familiarity with CI tools like GitHub Actions and hands-on experience with Docker.
• Knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; German is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity while working remotely.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI tools like GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Knowledge in modern frontend technologies like ReactJS/TypeScript/HTML/CSS.
