Mid-Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're excited to announce an opening for a Mid-Senior Azure DevOps Engineer remote position at Haystack. In this role, you will join a cloud-first, multi-platform technology innovator and work in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Your primary responsibility will be to scale modern infrastructure across a diverse multi-cloud landscape, making a significant impact on our operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead the hands-on management of a robust Azure ecosystem, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), PostgreSQL Flexible Server, and Redis.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Shared GitHub Actions to ensure seamless code deployment across public and private repositories.
• Manage multi-cloud integrations involving AWS (CloudFront, S3) and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) for specialized analytics services.
• Scale infrastructure reliability by configuring Azure Front Door, Key Vault, and Entra ID (PIM) for maximum security and performance.
• Drive a proactive "monitor-everything" culture using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and Logit.io to ensure zero-downtime operations.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in Azure DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proven experience deploying and orchestrating containers within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong proficiency in GitHub Actions for building scalable automation and deployment workflows.
• Practical familiarity with multi-cloud environments, specifically utilizing AWS and GCP services.
• Solid background in observability and alerting frameworks such as Grafana, Sentry, and StatusCake.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced observability tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
