What You'll Do

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition.
• Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs while adhering to Golang’s error handling conventions.
• Write unit tests and integration tests in Golang to ensure software quality.
• Utilize CI/CD tools and practices to streamline development processes.
• Mentor junior developers and enhance team collaboration.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Active 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security +).
• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s in STEM or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree for Level 4.
• Strong understanding of Golang syntax, structures, and idioms.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of microservices principles and how to implement them in Go.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior developers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with gRPC and protobuf or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Understanding how to build and deploy Go applications across different platforms.
