Join us as a Senior Software Engineer - AI-Powered Workforce Insights remote position at Microsoft, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of work. What You'll Do

• Take ownership of evolving a production-scale, AI-powered experience that expands scenarios, integrations, and platform capabilities to meet new customer needs.
• Operate at the intersection of agentic AI, large-scale analytics, and modern cloud platforms, influencing technical direction while delivering reliable enterprise-grade solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate complex problems into scalable solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in software engineering to build intelligent, trustworthy systems that raise the technical bar for AI-powered experiences.
• Engage in continuous improvement by actively adopting AI in your day-to-day work to enhance productivity and simplify engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a full-stack understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Experience working with large-scale data and analytics platforms, including ingestion, aggregation, and serving of high-cardinality organizational data.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cross-platform, full-stack integrations in environments with shared dependencies.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI-powered systems, including LLM-based experiences or Copilot integrations.
• Experience contributing to or operating within shared codebases and platforms.
