Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in cloud engineering to design and build scalable, secure, cloud-native platforms that support our digital transformation and SaaS initiatives. With over 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and a strong focus on modern cloud-native or SaaS environments, you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud architecture.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and evolve cloud platforms that are secure and scalable.
• Collaborate with architects and platform teams to implement multi-cloud solutions across GCP, AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) to manage containerized applications.
• Influence architectural decisions and best practices within the team.
• Balance architectural thinking with hands-on execution in complex environments.
• Support digital transformation initiatives across healthcare and retail ecosystems.
• Participate in the design and implementation of resilient cloud services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• 5+ years in cloud-native or SaaS environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and automation tools.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• Ability to balance architectural thinking with hands-on execution.
• Demonstrated experience designing and building cloud platforms or services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or retail cloud solutions.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
