Senior Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and data, ensuring the highest standards of security across our operations. What You'll Do

• Manage security systems including DLP, XDR, and VPN gateways.
• Implement and maintain security control policies to enhance overall security.
• Continuously monitor network activity and system loads to identify potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents, providing support for the SOC team and coordinating incident response efforts.
• Prepare technical documentation after implementing new security controls and configurations.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and suggest improvements to security configurations.
• Integrate security systems with new IT solutions and assets.
• Debug issues related to security systems software and collaborate with vendor support.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or information security roles.
• Advanced administration skills in macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including IP networking, routing, and switching.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms and enterprise VPN solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and security tools like PaloAlto and Digital Guardian.

Nice to Have

• Experience in implementing enterprise information security solutions like MDM, SIEM, and DLP.
• Understanding of virtualization platform functionality.
