Remote Contract iOS Developer (Swift/​Objective-C)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote iOS Developer to join our team on a fully remote, contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in native iOS development, particularly using Swift and Objective-C, and who are comfortable working on high-profile projects for well-known brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative mobile platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work in a flexible, remote environment for a duration of at least three months.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile solutions.
• Implement and optimize APIs, including RESTful services and GraphQL, to ensure smooth data integration.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold code quality and application stability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to iOS development.
• Ensure that applications meet performance, security, and usability standards.
• Document technical specifications and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in iOS development with a strong foundation in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Solid understanding of native iOS application architecture, UI/UX design principles, and best coding practices.
• Familiarity with React Native, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and version control systems like Git is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience working on mobile applications for recognized brands or agencies.
