Senior Platform Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to join our high-growth crypto trading powerhouse. This remote role is mission-critical for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure and real-time trading connectivity. You will be building the backbone of a high-performance platform, integrating directly with global crypto and traditional exchanges using AWS, WebSockets, and FIX protocols.

What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain robust platform infrastructure across AWS to support 24/7 trading operations.
• Build and optimize connectivity bridges into crypto and traditional exchanges ensuring ultra-low latency.
• Manage and scale production environments using APIs, WebSockets, and FIX protocol integrations.
• Collaborate directly with trading teams to solve performance bottlenecks and improve system scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues where every millisecond impacts the bottom line.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Platform or Infrastructure Engineering within a production-critical environment.
• Hands-on experience integrating with financial exchanges (Crypto, Equities, or FX).
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, low-latency architectures, and high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring tools for real-time data streams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
