Senior QA Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Quik Hire Staffing. In this role, you will review production-grade code and evaluate AI outputs across various programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, and C++. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while contributing to exciting projects.

What You'll Do

• Conduct code quality assessments to ensure production readiness of AI-generated full stack code.
• Evaluate maintainability, scalability, and adherence to real-world engineering standards.
• Rank solutions across multiple programming languages, providing insights into best practices.
• Create and answer questions on software engineering best practices as part of technical training content.
• Document debugging strategies and version control workflows to enhance team collaboration.
• Analyze code quality across full stack development scenarios to improve AI model performance.
• Evaluate Git workflows, including branching and merging strategies, to optimize development processes.
• Generate training data for advanced coding AI capabilities, contributing to the evolution of our technology.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in at least 2 programming languages from JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, and C++.
• Experience in building and shipping production software.
• Strong knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and collaboration techniques.
• Excellent technical communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in backend engineering and server-side scaling.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using frameworks like PyTest, JUnit, or Mocha.
• Experience in technical specification and API contract authoring.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and analyze large codebases for complex debugging.
• Startup founding or early employee experience is a plus.
