What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize low-level Linux systems for high-performance trading environments.
• Build robust, scalable tooling and services using Python.
• Collaborate closely with trading and infrastructure teams to ensure maximum system reliability and uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
• Continuously improve system performance, automation, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering/systems engineering within financial services (hedge fund, trading firm, investment bank).
• Strong expertise in Linux internals (kernel, memory, processes, networking, performance tuning).
• Advanced Python programming skills (production-grade systems, not just scripting).
• Experience with low-latency/high-performance systems.
• Solid understanding of networking, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Proven track record in production reliability and incident management.
