Senior High-Speed PCB Layout Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior High-Speed PCB Layout Engineer to join our innovative team at Array Labs. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge radar systems that will help humanity understand and respond to changes in the physical world. You will be instrumental in creating high-resolution 3D maps of the Earth, enabling faster and smarter decision-making for various organizations.

What You'll Do

  • Own the high-speed PCB layout process from initial placement through manufacturing release using Altium.
  • Define and implement stack-ups, impedance targets, and length-matching constraints for high-speed interfaces.
  • Translate schematic intent into layouts that meet signal integrity and power integrity requirements across mixed-signal and digital domains.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical design, firmware, mechanical, and test engineers to develop layout constraints and ensure successful manufacturing releases.
  • Drive DFM/DFT considerations with fabrication and assembly partners, ensuring documentation and release artifacts are complete.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in PCB layout, fabrication, and release of high-speed digital and mixed-signal electronics.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new concepts rapidly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High levels of self-motivation and personal accountability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Altium Designer and familiarity with Allegro and/or OrCAD.
  • Strong intuition for layout-driven SI/PI behavior.
  • Experience with SI/PI analysis tools such as Ansys SIwave or Keysight Power Analyzer.
