Senior Endpoint Security Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

Conviso Inc. is hiring a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer for a fully remote position. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in cybersecurity while working from anywhere in the United States. As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, deployment, and management of multiple endpoint security tools within a defense/government environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of various endpoint security solutions.
• Design and implement endpoint security for both on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Perform threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident response support to ensure robust security measures.
• Develop and enforce security policies and compliance standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, utilizing Jira for project tracking and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across endpoint security processes.
• Create documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while providing mentoring and training to junior staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT/Cybersecurity with a strong focus on endpoint security.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Trellix, Tanium, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Familiarity with additional tools like Symantec, SentinelOne, and Carbon Black is a plus.
• Experience working in DoD or compliance-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Jira.

Nice to Have

• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, CrowdStrike Falcon Certification (CCFA or higher), OCI Certification, Tanium/Trellix certifications, CompTIA Security+, and CISSP.
