Senior Electrical Engineer - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the design, reliability, and evolution of next-generation roadside hardware systems.
• Design schematics, PCBs, and cabling systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize power systems, including solar and battery configurations, alongside cellular connectivity.
• Iterate mechanical enclosures and assemblies using CAD software.
• Write edge-level software in Python and C++ to interface with various sensors and devices.
• Improve system robustness to achieve over 99.9% uptime in harsh conditions.
• Support field deployment, testing, and calibration as required.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in building real-world hardware, whether through industry experience or significant personal projects.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design and PCB development.
• Proficient in coding with Python and/or C++.
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT, or edge devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as Altium, Onshape, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
